Could not disagree more. But even if he WAS the sort of player you describe (which he isn't by the way), Poyet managed to turn El Abd into a composed, passing defender. Presumably a similar result would not be beyond Oscar as far as Dunk is concerned.

I wonder whether Lewis Dunk could be converted into a midfield player. I believe he was given a short run out at Whitehawk protecting the back four. Might be a decent move. Good on the ball, reads the game well, athletic but his occasional lapse in concentration would not be so important...
