Why is International football being played at the moment ? Forcing players to travel all around Europe at a time of pandemic is madness.
For instance how do our international players travel to and from the matches , ?
We should have had at least five against them - Trossard hit the woodwork three times . Spurs have quality strikers so no surprise they have 4 by half time.
We did take one really smart short corner when the ball was quickly passed along the goal line to Trossard who hesitated in crossing and another corner was conceded.
If Trossard had banged it into the goalmouth early at speed it would have been difficult to defend. But yes the corners were...
If only he could put an early cross in rather than try and beat the man again , and when he does cross he tends to not find an Albion shirt.
However, I agree he was our best player today.
Everton's finishing was clinical , they break at speed and overload the box. Which we don't do.
But we did compete , another suicide piece of defending on the stroke of half time after we had been pressing to take the lead, changed everything. It seemed to knock the stuffing out of us and we...
What a bizarre game.
Watched it from start to finish and thought that it was our worst performance for a long time. Yet thinking about it we created chances yet refused to shoot. Mina made about 4 crucial blocks and we looked at our most shaky when we had a corner.
Defence needs some immediate...
For how many years have you seen us battle back into a game , even if it is a gift, and then give them an opportunity to score. Why make that tackle March ?
Defending is woeful :annoyed:
For the first time in the Prem I now have an air of confidence that we might get something in every game we play - even away.
Well done G.Potter and the lads:albion2:
