They are normally in the bargain bin because no one else wants them.
If you are wearing them you can't see them , it's everyone else who has to look at them . Same mind set as no bothering to decorate the outside of your house as you never see it
Oh I didn't know it was now Friday.
Not much time to recover from the Sunday Spurs game - unfair boo :drama: (just getting in my excuses for the boring home draw early)
Bottom three on todays showing - top ten on Newcastle showing.
Need to find a middle ground where we win a few and lose a few rather than draw a few lose a few.
I like Maupay but he didn't have a great game tonight - like many others.
It took a good save to deny him in the first half - which Lallana should have shot rather than play it square.IMO
Brighton 2 Reading 1 (A.Duffy 2) March 27th 1970 - crowd 32,036 (Good Friday ?)
Why my father chose to take me (8 years old) to one of the biggest crowds in Goldstone history for my first match is beyond me. We were top of Division 3 but after this win but we lost the next 3 games , all away...
I am grateful for this thread as it prompted me to google details of my first away game when I was 14. It was at Palace in 1975 with my father. It was held in heavy rain and due to the large crowd we queued at the least lengthy queue and ended up in the Palace grandstand (which was much like the...
The lack of cleans sheets this season puts the spotlight on Mat Ryan but I think it's more to do with our poor defending. we do look vulnerable at the back this season
I don't think there is a lot in it but they probably have a better squad than us - just. Their attacking options are more varied so they are likely to get the odd 1-0 , 2-1 home win whereas we would probably get a frustrating draw.
Palace are a strange side. Season after season they trot out abysmal performances (normally at home) yet season after season they comfortably stay up. Very rarely they will throw in a stunning away win to keep people guessing (Man City , Man Utd)
I really wouldn't want to watch their style of...
I can remember AFC Bournemouth when they were Bournemouth and Boscombe ,(changed it 1971) and Peterborough were non league (1960) just before my birth. However ,neither fact helps the argument :ffsparr:
I have an electrical leaf collector which has a long lead and plugs into a socket , its about 10 years old.. Its quite good but heavy , newer versions may be lighter in weight now.
Any electrical equipment I have ever purchased which is rechargeable seems to stop functioning within a year so I...
I'm sure VAR will be changed soon. Can't have the " big clubs " having marginal decisions going against them can we ?
However, I must say it's nice to see the Liverpool fans exploding at the injustice of it all. The rest of us have had to endure this for decades and decades when...
