I always rated Alderweireld for club and country. 31 isn’t old for a CB, is he being eased out?

Agree, I think that’s one of the daftest sending offs I’ve seen particularly with VAR, you can clearly see Lamela made the first aggressive arm movement towards the throat. I think a yellow would have done for both. How the video referee can agree after seeing it from other angles I will never know

Lamela should be off - I think what saved him was the ref didn’t see it.

Holy shit, that man united defence is beyond shambolic.

I'm not sure if it's cheered me up that every team seems incapable of defending or if it's annoyed me that we didn't beat that absolute shower last week.

I don’t get Neville’s argument that the board is a disgrace for not signing players and Solskjaer is being held back from turning this lot into title winners by a lack of investment. Firstly, they’ve spent an absolute fortune every season for years. Secondly, they have quality players in every single position bar being a centre back short. Their squad is the second best squad in the league in my opinion.

Why doesn’t he just admit he’s sticking up for his mate and using national TV as a platform to share his bias?

It's none of that.

We should have had at least five against them - Trossard hit the woodwork three times . Spurs have quality strikers so no surprise they have 4 by half time.
