I sadly think the Tories will gain seats in Scotland.
My prediction is a Tory majority of 1, May to resign , Corbyn to resign, Boris to become PM and Brighton to win the Premier League!
If anyone fancies a 10k (or 5k) in Hove Park on Sunday 25th June to raise funds for Prostate Cancer research , have a look at this

Great day on Sunday, felt anything like running TBH after sitting up watching the events unfold in London until about 2am after getting back from another superb Levellers gig in Worthing. Picked up Guinness Boy and another mate as the trains looking a bit iffy! Parked up near the aquamarina...
Ohhhh a D Block reunion! Running top for me will probably be my purple Martlets top, black shorts and red socks! I will look out for you Sunday, as Guinness Boy said we will be by the 50 minute pacer (for a while hopefully)
Sunday I did the very enjoyable Horsham 10k for the third year running. Not a flat course so I was delighted to get a new PB of 51.01 (previous PB was 51.06 and previous Horsham PB was 54.28) so delighted with how it went. Lindfield cross country on Bank Holiday Monday then my next attempt at...
I have the perfect build of a beer drinker :-) My favourite distance is a HM, long enough not to be sprinting, short enough not to be thinking "WTF how many miles to go!". My PBs are 51.06 10k, 1.53 for a short HM at Brighton and 4.28 Marathon. I have no idea how they relate to each other in...
I am up for this but fast pace not my thing!!!! Dont want to spoil a teams hopes, but willing to give it a go as long as I dont get seen as the Akpom of the team and get booed off at the end! Am I allow to wear those trainer wheelie things?! If we are short I know another couple of lads who...
If anyone fancies a good old traditional 10k cross country run, then I can recommend the Lindfield village run on Monday 29th May. Great fun and a great but hilly route (few styles and occasionally fields full of bewildered cows!)

I am doing it...
It has definitely helped me, pint on me when I next see you! Managed 12 miles on Sunday @ 10.27 so not far off my marathon pace, it was nice to be back out on a longish run. Now up to 332 miles for the year, have set myself a target of 1,000 miles. I sat glued to the VLM after my run, usual...
I cannot make this as will be coming back from Norwich on Saturday morning, but may interest one or two on here

The Phoenix 10k is excellent and definitely a good NSC meet up event. I am aiming fir sub 50 this year (51.06 current PB). However I am now on the injury list after my two marathons in 21 days. My right knee has decided to fall apart, I cant straighten it without getting shooting pains...
Apparently if you contact Brighton Marathon they will send you a correct size finishers t-shirt. My mate got given a 10k one at the end by mistake (only discovered when they got home!)
Same - I have signed up for that again. I plan to steward next years Brighton Marathon , but MAY look at Edinburgh or Manchester marathons next April. Anyone done either of them? I have been told Manchester is very flat and that Edinburgh is a really good weekend (like Brighton)
That was brutal. Target was 4.15 and was with the pacer for 14 miles and then the heat started to win the day. Nearly crashed out between 16-18 I hot the worlds biggest wall ( I blame Trump!) , would have stopped if it was not for the amazingly supportive crowd and the nice family that fed me...
Morning all. Last time I will be on here before Sunday. Good luck to all those running the Marathon or the 10k. Meeting up with some mates at 8am at th clock tower in Preston Park. Got the Maranoia big time at the moment. Sure I pulled a calf muscle walking up the stairs to my office just...
I have known Paul for a long time, enjoyed many a pint with him, usually in a pub near the staton at some northern town after an Albion defeat in the dark old days. He was a true hero in the battle to save our club. He was always there to do the litter patrol after the Withdean games as...
