[Football] Next team to suffer racist abuse at Spurs....

I fully agree with your points, and would also add that as reporting such crimes becomes ever more fashionable, the definition of what constitutes a hate crime is ever wider, which also accounts for the rise.

Of course it is relevant -what a strange response. He was highlighting the fact that some/many muslim women are forced to wear such gear, which might well be a storm worth stirring, but obviously you think it is not.

Please stop posting such common sense on here .

    [Misc] Climate Change Hypocrisy

Try being a luvvie -it is so much more fun to criticise others, who earn probably a 20th of what they do.

Exactly. Could not have put it better myself.

[/B] But neither of the two posters where you disagree have said that it is acceptable, or have said that it is innocent banter,.

[Football] Next team to suffer racist abuse at Spurs....

Isn't this just typical of a political fanatic desperate to twist anything? He did not call Muslim women such in general as you are suggesting. He was talking of burkhas, which remind everyone of bank robbers and letter boxes when he was despairing of the way women are treated, if forced to...

    [Misc] Climate Change Hypocrisy

[/B] Yes, that is sadly the truth. Whilst we would probably all deny it, we are hypocritical to varying degrees - the sins of others are always worse. We are on a rat run for a local school, and the car that always parks so that they have the shortest possible walk is the one with the...

[Food] Amex food quality and cost

I really like the pies and will always go for them, but not the hot dogs. On the one occasion I did go for one, it was just one dry sausage on a very dry and tasteless roll.

[Misc] Is 15 years in jail for burning a pride flag a bit extreme?

Yes, I realised it was a dig, as you say, but given that we don't know what went on before and what crimes said person was responsible for, you are not in a position to say that the punishment was draconian.

[Albion] Sheff Utd (better than Weds) are unbeaten away in the league for...

Yes, they have undoubtedly done well, and all credit to them, though of course the first few months were in the Championship. It will be a tough game, as they will surely be full of confidence, understandably, but on the back of Monday night, and with our good home form, I am fairly confident...

    [Misc] The Cure

Yes, we watched the programme and were appalled -is this an absolutely true representation, though? I don't deny that it was awful, but was it as bad as it was made out to be.

[Misc] Is 15 years in jail for burning a pride flag a bit extreme?

Exactly. the previous offences have not been mentioned, so we do not know the full story.

Don't give me that - although that was precisely what I was expecting.

[Politics] Next leader of the Labour party

Yes, but your previous choice of words doesn't reflect this, does it. You said that the Tories are planning to change the boundaries, clearly implying some shady dealing, when the reality is that the Independent Boundaries Commission had urged change in 2016.

[Politics] Next leader of the Labour party

Isn't there such a thing as the Boundaries Commission, or some such title, that actually recommends changes, as it has in the past?
