I have noticed that Mill Road fills up far more quickly (earlier) than it used to. And if you miss the first tranche of buses going back (as I did), it's a long wait. I got to my car one hour after the final whistle - I did stay to clap the team off. And enjoying that they all go off together...
But we do know Solly. How would you feel if he was playing for Brentford this season, a regular starter, but was unable to play in the game against us? Glad he wasn't playing, ambivalent or disappointed because we could have targetted him? That's how it works.
Also, the "ex players always score...
Honest reply: Some people from a long time ago who no longer post. Lots of Palace trolls. A couple of people who ruin every thread they contribute to (by turning it into a binfest) and a couple of people who where persistently racists and I didn't want to have to see their bile.
A good measure of a players importance (using a lot of hypotheticals).
If he played for the opposition, would you be happy if he was injured and had to miss the game against us?
Using that test, I'm still not sure how I feel about Solly.

Are Forest going to be a decent side this season? Or is it newly promoted team (with 17 new signings) early burst of energy? They seem to be a very energetic side.
He spent more time out of his box (literally, the managers box) than in it. At one point got as far as level with the penalty area in the south. The lino was having to run round him because he was on the pitch so often. And the fourth official did nothing at all. Astonishing he didn;t get booked...
I am. The thread is less about who would replace him and more about exploring the idea that the Albion could be cultivating a replacement from within, as they appear to be doing with players. I hope GP is with us for years.
I just watched GP's press conference for the Leeds game. Seriously impressive once again - https://www.brightonandhovealbion.com/my-albion-tv/videos/2761032/potters-leeds-united-press-conference
I hope he's here for years and leads us to Europe season after season, but when he eventually goes...
