He scored some memorable goals but if he does go, as likely, this one will remain top of mind for a long time. Instinctive, typical and very skillful (and in the 98th minute). And I was right behind the goal. A beauty.
You'll have to click through to YouTube to see Neil's late, late goal...
I'll miss his shithousery but if we're going to be a fixture in the top 10 and have aspirations of European footy, we need better.
Having seen Ferguson again on Wed, I think we might be about to witness his breakout season this year. H'es probably not the answer short term - so I'd love to see...
I think I stood right in front of you and enjoyed your songs. Made a lot of people smile. But there was someone nearer the corner flag who dropped the c bomb all game. Seemed unnecessary and lacking any wit (unlike my heckles of "Bern-ard" and his shorts).
Mitoma looked very hacked off to be subbed. It seems a sensible move since he's likely to be on the bench Saturday and Tuesday. But lots of shaking of the head. I liked that he felt he had more to do.
This may have been mentioned already, but one of the interesting side stories will be that two former Ostersunds managers come face to face. Can't happen too often.
Thank you. Booked. I'm assuming this is Nailsworth Primary School - she didn't actually confirm where "the school "is!! But I know the bay number if I can find the right school.
I do think both Webster and Dunk look more assured with Veltman playing alongside them. As someone on NSC said, there seems to be fewer last ditch sliding blocks and backs to the wall defending moments since JV joined.
Rather like last season, I relish this fast start because we may need to lean on it at some point. October looks like being a long month. Followed by the world cup break and plenty of time for the worriers to full NSC with worry. That's when I'll be leaning on the tracker for a sanity check.
Can't see West Ham being so slack in the second half. But they did play on Thursday, so keep it clean until 70 then hit them with pace off the bench to push them back. C'mon Albion!!
