Don’t understand any negativity. Baffling! All things considered he looked FANTASTIC! I found him thrilling to watch. Very happy here! All the niggly, picky comments about the odd wayward moment is crazy. Every player on the pitch has ‘moments!’ It was his debut with VERY little time to be fully introduced and get acclimatised. I don’t understand you lot.

Very exciting going forward but took too many risks deep in our half for my poor ticker. I must admit I was relieved when he was taken off as his second half performance threaten our lead. But it was his full debut and I was somewhat surprised Potter gave it to him so early in his Albion career. One to watch IMO

His errors presented Leeds with two of their best chances to score, I am not unhappy we have him, looked very good in general, but he could have cost us 3 points today with "the odd wayward moment". Of course, we could then all moan about our missed opportunities from Solly and Trossard, so as not to put any blame on the new boy.

Watching a lot of our players, there is a huge understanding of where they need to be at any given time in the game - Webster and Dunk are superb at it in particular - Pervis, clearly hasn't got there yet and played himself into trouble a fair bit. Worth bearing in mind he is used to playing in a four and he was also impressive in his cameo at West Ham. Overall encouraging.

Leeds fans dominated that voting, all our players got 5’s and 6’s, theirs 7’s.

You do realise that BBC thing is a load of bollocks, don't you? Just there for ten year olds.

I've asked the BBC o remove it, or at least put the f***in' thing at th bottom of the page so that we can access the desired information without scrolloing through that crap. I always just give our team 10 points each, and the opposition players 1 point each. Come on! It's rubbish - let's all make a mockery of it!

It's a pants idea!

Great debut, imagine how good he could be in few weeks once he's fully up to speed with the club, team and league.

Yes, I often given Palarse and Manure players all zero, a minute into games.

To play that well having just arrived in the country and joined the club, having not played Potterball before, against a team that press more than almost any other, and not being able to speak English. Just wow! Well done Perv and hugely impressive recruitment by the club.

Honeymoon for him - if anyone else makes those 3-4 very dangerous mistakes he made in the second half, that would be the main subject now.

Definitely got the technical and physical ability however, just needs some tactical drilling.

Jury is well and truly out on this one.

I know it’s unfair to compare him to cucu but it’s inevitable.

On the last game abd a halves viewing he has the quality at times to be very decent but also the danger of being a howler of a signing.

Needs a few quiet chats with el capitano.

Super impressive debut at West Ham.

Started badly and got worse yesterday. Didn't help seemed to be wearing slippers. Had a few chances to really drive us forward but opted to go safe and sideways.

As good as he was at WHU , he was the opposite last night but then the whole defence looked like a comedy show.

Hopefully settles somewhere between the 2

Against Leeds in the first half I thought he looked absolute class. (I was there). Some lovely touches, great passes, and he looked properly on top of his game.

Then, at about 70 minutes, he flipped some kind of internal suicide-switch and made two howlers. GP picked up on it immediately and hooked him off. I wondered if he was just tired and needed more time to adjust to the PL.

Either way I do think there's an absolutely cracking player in there. He just needs work.

Just been reading the Cucurella thread. It's a mirror image of this one early on. "He's class. He's shite. He's an unknown. He's a cockwomble. He's what we need. He's lightweight. Blah blah blha."

Proof that fans have short memories and the past is viewed with sepia-toned nostalagia.

Cucu was phenomenal but it's not as if he was flawless from day 1 till the end.

Exactly. We need to give this bloke a chance. FFS he's been here about 5 minutes and as far as England and the PL is concerned he hardly knows which way is up yet!

I remember watching Cucurella (not live btw) early on versus Brentford and he gave the ball away a couple of times and looked a bit lost - I began to theorise that Sam Beckett had leapt into his body, and being an American quantum physicist, he was absolutely shit at football. Even his trusty sidekick Al, couldn't cigar quip his way out of it... that or he was an out of control muppet, kind of like Animal playing the drums with no drumkit... air drumming his way all over the pitch.

Oh boy, how wrong I was.

Let's give Percy a break, heck let's give all the players a break.

I was also at the Leeds game and thought he just got away with a couple of risky moves in the first half around our penalty box. Early days but a bit of a liability to be put straight into the starting eleven at the moment . IMO
