Those who are going tonight should watch out for Matt Piper who should play at rightback. I think he'll be the next youth player to break into the first team, especially now Watsons injured. Seen him a few times for the reserves and his passing was superb for a young player.
Just doen a quick search, he's played 3 first team games for Chelsea last season and also been on trial at Tenerife. He see's himslef as a midfielder 'with a lot of energy and a team-player and prides himself on good distribution.
I reckon the club already know and the best way to jusdge this would be to hunt down Perry and Knight to see what mood they are in. Smug grins all round I hope.
Two players I'd like to see us give at least a trial to are Peter Kennedy and Danny Sonner. Agents have sent letters requesting trials to all division 1 clubs but Barry Fry looks like getting Kennedy who is a good left sided player.
I live in Bracknell which is so boring and rough the best option for a night out is usually to head to Reading ! Decent enough pub/clubs but they all charge on the door at the weekend and are usually packed with chav blokes. Shoppings nothing special, just your default large town shopping mall.
I was on the pitch for the Notts County match (Liam Brady asked us very nicely to leave and he's make sure we won the game)and during the Lincoln match when we went on three times in total. The lincoln game unfairly cost us two points but made the back page of the times and a few other papers.
Your right about the East Stand problems but the plan was to create more space behind both goals, the maximum size of the east stand was about 3200 seats due to Goldstone lane and height restrictions. The board were so desparate for Space they experimented 1 season by making the pitch 1 yard...
A 23700 capacity was possible but only by relocating the business's behind the sound stand. Without relocation the maximum all seater capacity would have been around 18500. Plans were drawn up to redevelop the Goldstone in line with the planning restrictions. The East Stand would have had a...
My bird dragged me to Lidl and Aldi, I thought they'd be Pikesville and wasn't dissapointed but the food itself was as good as most supermarkets and much cheaper. After sampling the chilli cheese selection and spicy german meats I'll be back for more.
We've got Neale Barry at Swindon. Can't remember him being too bad when I've seen him and he did get a cracking assist for Norwich against Reading. At Withdean we've got Graham Laws.
