Sorry, promised not to say but this guy's been spot on before. Sounds like a permenent deal as he's been allowed to pull out of a saints game tonight to come down.
I've actually seen him play against Brighton reserves and he had a good game, kept a clean sheet. Before Dundee he was at Reading for quite a while as back up keeper but could dislodge Hahnenmann. I think he would be a cheap backup for Kuipers and capable of pushing him for a first team place.
Probably better if it's a new problem but it could be related. As Paul Kitson strived to prove, a bad back can increase the chances of a wide variety of injurys.
I've heard it's only 4.5 million up front with the rest depending on appearances. Reid is very talented but has a terrible attitude and Dawson seems to be all hype so I don't think these departures will hurt Forest. If Forest do not beat Rotherham this weekend that will be 2 of 3 relegation...

Martin Perry really has done a great job getting the project so near to a final yes decision. His job was hard enough without fcuktard nimbys and biased twerps using dirty tactics to ruin his work.
To save others time these links seem to be saying the opposite to Alices delusional claims. Apart from the totally unique occurence of Warnock getting stick the links suggest the atmosphere was too nice and that Reading are a nothing club.
Could the managers be making up an excuse ? I partly blame the Reading offical site for the deranged views of reading fans - it is easily the most biased and hype filled football site i've read.
Typical of Reading. They had already lured Exeters manager to be the clubs new Academy director, without paying compensation! He did not have a full time contract due to Exeters financial situation.
.
I watch Reading fairly often and can honestly say the noise at big Withdean games (Chesterfield, Cardiff, Swindon etc) is much louder than anything i've heard from Reading at home. I'd say the attendance at Reading is about 7000 die hards + people who just want to see a match, not support reading.
I watch Reading when I can't make Albion games and I think Readings lack of atmosphere is partly caused by a lack of inspiring chants and songs. All they seem to do is clap and shout Reading or Urzz. I saw them put 5 past Preston the other season and the atmosphere was still dead.
Important player to lose but 250K is an offer we can't refuse. Currie could have negotiated a free transfer in January or been injured and out for the season. Added to the Spurs money and A&K donations the club should be secure until we finally get a decsion on Falmer. If the sales allows us...
Tough choice this weekend. As McGhee has to change the line up I'd like to see him go with a side I think could do well for the future:
Kuipers
El Abd Hinsh Cullip Harding
Hart Nicolas Hammond Currie
Knight Molango
Recently won £250 jackpot on a 4 reel fruit machine, I was well sloshed and 3 jackpot symbols spun in but when it offered me a nudge for the 4th I sobred up pretty quick.
