If you don't get a ticket for West Ham will you go in the home end?

Are you a homer for the day?

just don't le tit be known that you are away fans as my west ham supporting mate who used to be a steward at upton park said he's escorted many a beaten up away fan fromt he home end with no sympathy for him as he wa sin the wrong area.

They aren't like Reading fans who would give you a prawn sarnie for your trouble.

Quite. Anyone who thinks they could go in the home end at Upton Park and get out in one piece is really deluding themself.

You're not making me feel very happy!

I've been invited to the game by a Contractor. I originally thought it was an executive box type of do, but am now told that they would rather spend the money on food and beer either side of the game, so will just get some tickets for the match. Which obviously pitches me in with the home fans. :thud: :shootself

I've been in the West Ham end before with my brother for a spurs game. I have to say the hammers fans had the combined intelligence of a piece of wood, shouldn't be too tricky to out smart them.

I'm not suggesting turning up in colours and chanting SEAGULLS!

Although it might be tempting when we score...

I'm sure you'll be fine if you're with someone and don't large it as a Brighton fan but I would recommend that should we score you do the Jasper Carrot sitting in The Villa section "yup" under your breath and leave it at that.

I think I can do it. I managed to survive the Shelf at Spurs in the 70s (we almost came unstuck when my mate shouted "Go on, Paul Clark", though!).

I'm still a bit nervous about it, though. I just hope cheering for BZ won't make it obvious, either!

Yup, will probably be in the home end with a hammers friend. Not sure what to expect, but will definately try to keep my head down.

Ive been three times and have never been in the away end, mind you i havent had too much to cheer about. I recall a Neil Macnab penalty which was a finger in the air "yep"...

Me and 3 others already have tickets in the Centeneray stand. If you're sensible I can't see there being any problems.

To all those thinking of going in the home end, i would just like to say goodbye and R.I.P. I remember going to Upton Park in the 70's, I've never run so fast before or since. I got on the train and hid under the carpet without making a lumqp:shootself

Wear shin pads and a Julian Dicks mask. You'll be alright.

Is it not like Millwall? if they spotted any strangers in the home end, they would ask you questions about the reserve team and if you got the wrong answer, they would give you a hiding.
