Read the book ages ago, it was excellent, haven't bothered watching the TV prog as I am leaving the country on Saturday and would miss all the other episodes.
The book is one of a series of three which link the main characters. The other two are "He Kills Coppers" and "True Crime". All of the the books draw on the underbelly on the last 40 year and include everything from the Krays, Harry Roberts, the birth of the Skinheads and convicts as sociology students !
I watched the first episode last night, then saw the second straight after on BBC4,.... really cool that....... both episodes were good and shall watch the other two ( only 4 in total apparently)
