Are Reading a better project than Brighton? Of course they are. And until we get promoted to the Premier League and benefit from parachute payments etc they will remain so.
Possibly.
Sad fact of where we are as a club is that, much like Palace did with Zaha, we have to cash in on players occasionally.
Do I want to see a Brighton team without Bridcutt in it? Of course not. If someone offered upwards of £5million for him would I take it? Yes.
I joined a queue in the WSL. I was behind one family. It took the person on the counter the best part of 20 minutes to serve them after repeatedly entering the wrong items etc. He then messed up my order twice. An order which was two meal deals and a coffee. Hardly rocket science.
I wouldn't...
Lovely tribute.
Felt Richie Reynolds could have gone into more detail on Mr Chuter though, rather than just saying he was the old programme editor. I don't mean that as a dig at him. Not at all. Was probably just reading from a sheet etc. Just felt that for people who were not aware of all Mr...
I voted for Cup Games, but, as I said above, I would like to see him training full time with the first team, playing regularly for development squad and included on first team bench fairly regularly.
How on earth can anyone say with any authority how good any rival team in this division will be before a ball has been kicked in anger?
I would be delighted with a point from Saturday. Delighted.
Would like to see him step up to full time training with the first team but playing regularly for development squad.
Continue development with occasional appearances from the bench for the first team and possibly perhaps the odd start in the cups.
Not overly confident about the first match but equally won't be concerned if we lose - even if we lose heavily (ish).
Oscar is not going to get the team playing his way and all bedded in overnight.
That is quite a call to make though, on the basis of medical records we don't have access to.
Before he came here he didn't appear to have any major problems. And he is relatively young.
Wouldn't be surprised if he did end up leaving the game but not sure how some on here can really comment...
He has as much pace as Ashley Barnes though.
I think getting Orlandi in the starting line up is key. If he starts on the left but is given freedom to drift around and get on the ball that is fine by me.
Agree.
But equally, Bruno is good going forward but is prone to some rather dodgy defensive positioning or just not getting back particularly quickly from his trips up field. Both good for this level, but neither perfect.
Nobody is signed for free these days. Agents fees, signing on bonuses etc all add up and players can usually demand higher wages in the absence of a transfer fee.
And equally, we have paid off some players to leave on a free.
But, that is me being picky. That list does represent some great...
