England have a great home record in Tests but do seem to struggle in the first test of each series or am I wrong - under prepared ?
I'm not sure how many 1st Tests we have won at home in the last 10 years but it seems to me we are often struggling to save the 1st Test.
Happy to be proven wrong.
Oh dear , my heart sinks whenever I see a videos of goalscoring machines from abroad that most of us have never heard of. It smacks of deja vu with Ali J & Locadia.
I would much rather we spent more on a known goalscorer who has done it in the UK - Armstrong , Toney , Willock etc or a decent...
But same could be said of Sheff U who finished 9th and then have been relegated bottom of the pile. It's difficult to assess a newly promoted Club - I won't be expecting Leeds to go down next season.
Interesting that the Club aspire to a top ten position. Aston Villa, who I thought had a cracking season with 16 wins and some great results, finished 11th 4 points adrift of 10th position. It's a tough ask.
