Oh dear , my heart sinks whenever I see a videos of goalscoring machines from abroad that most of us have never heard of. It smacks of deja vu with Ali J & Locadia.

I would much rather we spent more on a known goalscorer who has done it in the UK - Armstrong , Toney , Willock etc or a decent loan signing that has proved himself over here.

Chris Wood. Oh, hang on, he'd want paying. Scrub that. Let's just stick with signings from the Low Countries Walking Leagues. I'm sure they all do a really nice Youtube showcase feat. the best five minutes of their entire career

Why do you think Armstrong or Toney are any better than pretty much any Championship 25+ a season striker that has not managed much more than 10 goals per season in the PL in the last 10 years ?

We all know what the missing piece is in Potters jigsaw.

Post your feasible nominations who you think could propel The Albion forward in the League and hopefully a cup.

My choice

Sasa Kalajdzic 23 year old forward for VfB Stuttgart who scored 16 goals in the Bundesliga and would cost around 15+million..

Great minds! Sasa Kalajdzic was one of my picks back in January, and I discussed him amongst others on the Albion Analytics podcast - feel free to have a listen if you want to learn more about him!

I think my number one pick is actually Roman Yaremchuk of Gent. Very well rounded, plays in a 3 back system and has developed a clinical side to his game. I would love to see either at the Albion.

Didn't we sign the missing link on loan in 1985?

6 foot 7 Nigerian striker from Genk, played with Trossard. Scored 33 goals this season and got them Champions League football, can score with his head and both feet. He's basically an elite level Bas Savage because he's rapid and athletic as hell too. He fits the exact type of mould of striker we're missing & would be affordable around 20-30m like Maupay was. We absolutely should be going in for him.

Are you implying what I think you're implying?

If so - how very dare you.
