Got to be my favourite moment of the tournament so far . Especially after the woman commentator continually banging on about how great Spain are defensively and then that happens. Brilliant and then she praises the Spanish defenders for consoling the goalie :lolol:
Hopefully Adios for...
Hmmm , I'm not sure many Scottish people wanted England to win that day. I was wandering along an Algarve beach in 1998 when a very sun burnt short Scot approached me and berated me most vociferously  to my complete astonishment . It was only when I realised that I was wearing my Bobby...
England normally put in a very decent performance somewhere before exiting a tournament. I am hoping it will be this one with the massive advantage of it being played at home. Both sides have not looked impressive so far . 2-1 the good guys.
Thanks Theatre of Trees . I shall bow out thoroughly beaten , like Scotland, by better players.

Oh dear , England are like the Albion. Slow build up down the wings and then work the ball back to the halfway line. We have one of the best strikers in the world and hardly ever but the ball into the box. So disappointing.
To be fair - if you are going to suffer this then apart from it happening in a hospital then the next best thing is at a major sporting event. Expert medical care being available immediately.
So sorry to hear about your Dad. I still go with my Dad and he manages to get up to WSU at the age of 86.
He took me to the first game I can remember at the Goldstone vs Reading 1970 - huge crowd - we won 2-1 - hooked every since . I have no idea why he choose such a big match to take me to...
