Congratulations to New Zealand 
Not sure there was much wrong with the pitch itself in the bits I saw, but it is dissapointing that in the supposedly showcase final only the final innings managed a run rate above 2.5rpo.

Well it's more exciting than the T20 this evening.To echo the arguments on the Southgate thread, India and New Zealand both have the players to play a more expansive and expressive game than that.
On another note, what are India actually doing for the next month or so before the first test against England?

Because then they'd have to schedule longer gaps between matches, and they'd be able to fit fewer pointless ODIs and T20s in.
Also, in England at least, most of the tickets are sold in advance, so most of the time the crowd at the last day would be deeply underwhelming.
Then why bother replying to the thread?
