Interesting question. I can only recall 3 falls in the best part of 10 years running. Hopefully ‘your friend’ makes a speedy recovery and continues their streak.
This is Jamie Overton on debut, and not his brother Craig, who I agree after 10 or so test caps, looks well short of being a quality test match bowler.
You’ll note, I did a ‘Glen Murray’ and didn’t celebrate when I crossed the finish line.
Great to have The Weakest Link back. The course was better than I thought, would probably edge towards the original still though overall. If they were to run two a year, then alternating would be ideal...
I’ve signed up with a Phoenix team, I agreed personal terms yesterday.
I’ll see you all there though. It’s a great event, so anybody who hasn’t done it before should, it’s great.
Will be interesting to see how the flatter course plays out, I’ll miss the Asda zig zag on the original route.
Shame to have missed out, and disappointing to hear of the gaffer’s injury today.
I’ve not had a chance to make a Park Run since October last year, so I’ll hopefully get to one soon.
I took the chance to get onto the SDW today and very nice too it was. The Saddlescombe to Pyecombe hill is...
Interesting. I would say though, that even if a small band of clubs; in particular Liverpool were dominant, they weren’t winning leagues with 90-100 points per season.
The old adage of win at home and draw away would more often than not win you the title.
2 points a game used to be enough...
It’s been spoken about a lot; around where we were 25 years ago at Edgar Street.
I thought out of interest, I’d just check Manchester United’s position, which was top and eventual Premier League winners that season.
Amazing to think that 91st in the football league would trounce the top side...
Agreed. My choice of words could have been better. It’s not a howler by any stretch, however I’m pretty sure he’ll be disappointed.
My posts are purely in relation to one incident. I think Sanchez is a massively promising player and already justifies his number one position at the club.
You give the free kick taker that side and say if you are good enough to go up and over the wall then fair play, just don’t get beaten your side.
It’s a good free kick, but I’d imagine Sanchez will be disappointed with that one.
It’s his side though. If the ball goes in that side it has to be the keepers fault.
The wall protects half the goal, Sanchez’s job is to protect the other half, but he doesn’t.
A fairly predictable fight if you looked at the form line.
Fury dominated a similar style and ability Chisora over two fights. In either fight Fury didn’t lose a round with Chisora not able to get close.
Whyte had two nip and tuck thrillers with ‘Del Boy’ so couldn’t see anything other than...
Brighton deserves a lot better than the current organisers, who year after year fail to learn from their mistakes.
An expensive marathon, which gets worse every year. At least it was accurately measured this year; one improvement I guess.
