Don’t understand these conspiracy theories - if race officials were so determined to give the race to MV why didn’t they insist LH give back the place on lap 1?
It would have been a complete anti-climax if the race had finished under the safety car.
How the hell can the stewards say LH gave the advantage back?
They were side by side at the corner - LH may have slowed a little but never allowed MV to close up at all.
Chico directly behind Lewis on the grid seems to be forgotten.
He’s also on soft tyres and could easily be alongside Lewis going into the first corner. I wouldn’t expect him to give any quarter if that were the case.
The race tyre is determined during qualification session 2. The top 10 cars go through to qualification 3 and the actual tyres they used in Q2 to set their fastest time are the ones they must start the race with.
LH’s fastest time in Q2 was set with mediums and MV’s with soft.
How does any of that explain non-compliance in the East Lower concourse - hardly groups of “lads, lads, lads”!
I wonder if it’s more a matter of not wanting to stand out by wearing a mask.
Exactly
Went to Tesco’s today for the first time in ages and was pleasantly surprised to see that virtually everyone was wearing a mask.
What is it about our supporters that make them so selfish they won’t wear a mask?
People are routinely ejected from football grounds without a riot ensuing.
It wouldn't be a matter of trying to make thousands wear a mask - start making an example of just small groups who refuse to do so when asked.
I wouldn't serve anyone without a mask in the queue - the percentage genuinely exempt is small, (tiny?), either get someone else to queue for them or have a separate area for them to buy food and drink.
Having just one or two stations that will serve those not wearing would increase compliance.
I can’t see that.
Any inconvenience has already occurred, a temporary agreement would at least have delayed that - is/has Bennet objected to any of BHA’s plans?
The current planning consent for the use of the field as parking is only temporary in any case.
What I haven’t seen addressed is why isn’t Bennet renting the car park to BHAFC on a month by month basis? Any planning request and approval, (if granted), will likely take months if not years.
We’ve still not got final approval on a planning application for a demolition and rebuild of our...
