Our manager is, as ever, totally on message and always says the right thing.
But I cant see that he will really want to go into next season with 2 keepers, 3 centre backs and 3 central midfielders and trust to luck with injuries.
I suspect he will hope for additional but is way to classy to say...
I really like the look of this guy, appears what we need with pace and power centrally.
Can I get excited since the only thing from the original French article that Naylor disputes is the size of the fee.
Joke or not it wasn't the brightest thing to do with the amount of coverage each game gets now.
Let's be honest there would be a much more vocal reaction on here if it had been one of the, shall we say, less popular members of the team
Ive met Katie quite a bit recently since my other half does some stuff for her regularly. As youd expect she is a world away from her tv persona and to my surprise was really done to earth. I know how much she worries about Harvey and this is a worthwhile cause.
With the possible distraction that one of our strikers faces it would make sense to me. And we dont have the possible attitude issus with some loans, you know he would try
Well as someone who doubted the club would sign a striker this window I am happy to be proved wrong.
seen him play a couple of times and he is quick and strong lets hope he is the answer.
My view is that you fail medicals for long term serious conditions which affect your ability to play on a regular basis rather than a hamstring issue which is on the mend. So i expect/hope/pray that he will pass.
Surely early days depends on whether you view this window in isolation. Since we missed out in the summer and have supposedly been working on it since i feel that no inbound by now probably means not at all. I hope to be wrong.
Sadly I'm beginning to think that we wont be getting the much hoped for striker. Its my own fault I had stupidly thought that after the summer we be bang on it from the 1st January and the new striker would have been here for a week or so now. Lets hope the club will deliver because like many I...
I fully understand what you are saying and would rather the club have long term stability rather than short term risk, we all would I feel. However stupid money is what it takes to secure a quality striker, one who may keep you up and keep the sky money pouring in. You either pay that since it...
Putting my personnel hat on it puts the Ecb in a difficult position. If it was one of our executives charged in this way we would absolutely dismiss if found guilty and with the images seen probably the same even if not guilty. It is brand damaging.
So my question is do different rules apply...
voted no for the simply reason of who do you replace him with. The only option is march who has been no better in my opinion. Someone suggested Tilley but with the massive onus we place on defensive structure i would say to early for him.
Incredible isnt it. We failed in the last window to sign the most important player leaving us trusting to luck and exceptional defending. Here we are half way through the next window and what have we done to correct that. As it stands nothing. We are struggling and need a lift and soon. Lets...
I actually feel for him. We have been hamstrung by a poor window in respect of forwards. I expect i will get the usual list of hard luck stories but frankly it was a mess in the summer and he has done brilliantly to get us here.
The fact that we have not resolved this quickly this window is...
I really wish I didnt know that. Can you imagine the melt down if we allow that run to end allowing pardew to win whilst missing chances after failing so far to add a forward. I shudder to think.
I assumed that we would currently be discussing whether our new striker was likely to start at
WBA or be on the bench after the summer failure.
Not that confident so voted no striker in the hope id be wrong again.
