    Orlandi Gone!

I suspect we may be left with the one and only original 'latino',... namely Calde...... the rest will move on.

The position we are recruiting for is for that of first-team manager.

Yes, they do,... I added them just to illustrate the potential size of the rebuilding task if all or a lot of them ended up getting moved on.

[Albion] Garcia's reasons for leaving (from today's Argus, per Andy Naylor)

You know, I think both camps probably have some elements of truth in their stories, they will cherry pick to suit obviously, but what irks most of us, is the less than savoury way Gus presented it, ie MOTD2. Thats what sits heaviest with me, I lost any remaining respect at that point.

I suspect they were swung by the potential for Spanish youngsters from youth and B teams, on the cheap,..... obviously this didnt materialise for whatever reason.

Filter out the relevant players in this discussion,.... would make it easier to read.

Its a figurative timeslot to allow released players to be paid over a period from the end of the season ( May) when they may be hunting for other clubs,.... yes?

The position we are recruiting for is for that of first-team manager.

Of course he won't, where did you dream that one up from, he is there now, the 'hard yards' are being done now by Jones because he is still in the clubs employ. When the new fella comes in, he is just as likely to say, no thanks taff, I have my own man, at which point boyo will head for the...

The position we are recruiting for is for that of first-team manager.

Good grief, the retained ( or not) list would have already been drawn up with the last managerial and coaching team, its already in motion. There is no way on earth that they would leave everyone hanging around just in case. Bear in mind that the players all head off on their annual leave now...

Paul Barber responds on Albion managerial situation

By 'people', I assume you mean OG and some of the media reporting seen today and yesterday.

Paul Barber responds on Albion managerial situation

I think our match day thread format will be under thread too, it doesn't comply with the corporate image the club are trying to portray since we moved to the Amex..... too many spelling and grammatical errors.

Should we be looking to sell Ulloa now?

Leo want Prem football, he will go for sure this summer,.... sadly.... if Gus doesnt take him, there are no shortage of admirers as we know,..... just a case of how much,... 4-5 million in my view.

[Albion] Garcia's reasons for leaving (from today's Argus, per Andy Naylor)

I think the language issue is more important than people think, I saw it 1st hand when I was in the players lounge at the Blackpool game. There is clear separation between the Spanish cadre and the rest of the squad, in fact they were at either ends of the lounge. At one point Casper A. was on...

Jesus, let's hope we have more ambition than that......

It is not Bloom, Barber or even Burke...... It is FFP

That takes us back round to recruitment choices and coaching style again then!...... is Warren Aspinall right? ( I cant believe I actually said that)..... did the lack of a plan b on the pitch give us more problems than we needed to carry?

[Albion] Garcia's reasons for leaving (from today's Argus, per Andy Naylor)

There is only one thing for it then,...... in the Championship, clubs not in receipt of parachute payments should get latitude to exceed the FFP limits by x% to enable the division to be fought for over a level playing field. Alternatively, the clubs at a disadvantage should legally challenge...

[Albion] Garcia's reasons for leaving (from today's Argus, per Andy Naylor)

He largely got the push because of clashes with Tan,.... he had a decent record until then, promotion, League Cup final, play-offs,..... his style of play was good too. As for buying the promotion, he did spend big on Bellamy's wages, but other than that was probably comparable to several other...

[Albion] Garcia's reasons for leaving (from today's Argus, per Andy Naylor)

I don't think Sherwood is the answer.....he only just got performances from a squad worth £200 million and on god knows what salaries. Malky please, and make it quick.
