Yes, but plenty that can catch us also, Villa have crept up to only 3 points behind us with a very good manager now in charge there.
It should be a fun second half of the season, here's hoping anyway!
My favourite quote: "Go in there now. There’s no point trying to get him when he has scored 50 Premier League goals because he will be unaffordable."
Ummm, you're talking about Newcastle. Money ain't going to be a problem.
True, but I would expect that De Zerbi would like a statement signing or two, he might even have been promised that.
It's also not a lot more than we paid for Mwepu, Cucurella or Estupinan
I think the rule is that the more times you play a team, the more reasons you find to dislike them. I used to like watching a few premier league teams in the old days. I find it hard to stomach pretty much all of them now
There is quite a large middle ground between 'little old Brighton' and the very best players in the world. Would you still argue if I said Mbappe was too good for us?
We're brilliant, but Caicedo is just stunning
It certainly looked like a penalty, I think it probably was. However I saw the replay many times and couldn't conclusively see the defenders foot catch Welbeck. Perhaps hard to overturn on that basis. Most blame here lies with the on pitch ref not giving it I reckon
This is a case where the Internet is a bit contradictory (fancy that). He actually played 29 games and scored 4 goals for us, including in the old first division, according to Wikipedia, more than the 6 games played according to the other site. And he appears to have been English when he played...
I'm not sure if the list I found included loanees or not, but anyway this player was a permanent signing. He played 6 times for us between 1979 and 1983. Good luck!
