Assuming that we would have described Mac Allister, Mitoma, Caicedo, van Hecke etc as talented undervalued players when we bought them, in the last three windows before this one we've added Adingra, Enciso, Gilmour, Kozlowski, Scherpen, Undav, Sima, Sarmiento as well as Cucurella, Estupinan...
Despite going to a fair few games, I've never seen us win a premier league game at the Amex. So it will be that one....
But also want to mention Brighton 3 QPR 0 on Dec 27th 2016. We were so good that season, that so many great wins and performances just seemed routine. But that was a...
Farewell Leo, such a great player and I was always waiting for the 'Season of Trossard', in the end we just got half of one perhaps but c'est la vie. Shame how it ended but sometimes that happens. I'm sure he'll do well at Arsenal.
I can see it all from his point of view, three and a half years...
There's a couple I believe. But, no, this is the men's team, and he's got a couple right (the easiest two, no doubt, although I thought Gyokeres was Nowegian and Shabaan was Turkish :p)
He would be the 5th Swedish player to play for Brighton if he appears in a match. If you can name the others without looking them up you'd be a better man than me. Swanny should be able to smash this challenge though :)
I've become rather accustomed to players leaving us in good stead, usually once they've fulfilled their role and are off for a quieter life somewhere else. In the last couple of years though we've had Cucurella chucking in a transfer request, Bissouma slipping quietly out the back door, Burn...
Yeah, I'll go with all of these - it feels similar, yet different at the same time, and not easy to put your finger on why. Trying to attack from deeper to exploit bigger spaces up front seems the biggest change, and a lot flows from that, the quicker, braver passing is needed to move the ball...
In the past we haven't sanctioned sales because it's to our direct rivals due league positions. Does this mean that Spurs would be out as a destination?
At some point the guy has to come back to training, and I hope things get resolved.
He's f***ing brilliant. I reckon he's better than Potter. It doesn't offend. But Potter was great too, and we wouldn't have this without him. No need to be an arse like @Cheeky Monkey
Colwill was brilliant, so brilliant we have no chance of signing him. Lallana was an absolute delight. Caicedo was in complete control of midfield and Mitoma got me off my seat every time.
But Solly, Solly MARCH was superb, a performance that would win many player of the season awards single...
I mean, we knew we had a good chance, maybe even favourites. We knew Liverpool fans were worried. But for a game to be THAT one-sided against a champions league finalist from last season, against Liverpool, arguably the greatest English club, wow! WOW!
I don't disagree that he would like to move up in the game, he's made that clear many times - but it's a stretch to go from there to this completely unprofessional behaviour before the transfer window had even opened.
I imagine he got himself in a very bad place where he didn't care about...
Does sound a bit like he needed an arm round his shoulders after the WC disappointment, he may well have seen MacAllister having time off celebrating, thought it should have been him and got himself messed up. Not really making excuses for him but he obviously got himself into a bad headspace...
