Leon said Coppell was the key to him wanting to sign so I agree with Icy. The club are optimistic about Falmer and if that comes off ok, SC will sign more long-term.... :drink:

Coppell is the key. Knight has already said he reckons SC is the best manager out there. If Sir Steve was contracted to us for a couple of seasons, there would be no question who Leon would sign for - the fact SC's contract is only for a year - who knows what Leon will do?

But he was playing for a crap team and wasn't getting any service. He's already proved here that if he gets the chances, he'll stick them away. I'd be more than happy seeing him playing in Div 1 with us next season!!

I think we need to sort out a contract longer than a year. The guy looks absolute class and, with the right service, will score goals in Divs 2 and 1. If we get an extended loan, another Sidwell will happen - we need to do all we can to sign him up on a 2-3 year deal. If someone bigger comes in...
