He once wrote book on the Loch Ness Monster - which I have around here somewhere

[Brighton] Transport in Brighton TIME FOR A UNDERGROUND SYSTEM.

Yeah, they're ok, but nothing special, as far as I know. I've only had t/a from Hectors but been in Artisan many times. Having no kidneys and limited on drinking volume, every cuppa has to "count" !

[Brighton] Transport in Brighton TIME FOR A UNDERGROUND SYSTEM.

I don't know the future of the high-street, but it will undoubtedly be different. I suspect what will happen is someone with great imagination will come up with novel uses for the shops, something we've not thought of as yet. It would be a shame if they just dissolved to flats. If I knew what...

[Brighton] Transport in Brighton TIME FOR A UNDERGROUND SYSTEM.

I doubt it. There's still the same number of "shops" but the type will be different. What will change is the driverless cars plus the drone shuttles that will start appearing. Drone transport will be the next big thing.

[TV] New Alan Partridge series on the way later this year.

As good as it was, surely it's been done to death by now. Leave it alone.

    [Albion] Difficulty of run-in

Indeed. Even in normal times, on the day anyone can beat anyone else - and this season it seems even more so. Looks like it'll go to the wire and anyone placing bets needs their head examined.

I have the 5650 too and no problems. About £60 I think. The new cartridges are not cheap, but I can get them in Tescos.

Must have been cold lying on that tarmac, and pretty dangerous too. Which lane were you lying in ? .

    [Albion] Difficulty of run-in

I've always thought we'd go down, but equally I still think we'll get a result against one of the big boys - hopefully Arsenal, and that might fuel a decent end to the season to survive. Nobody knows and the numbers mean very little whichever way you cut them.

    [Football] Carlos Carvalhal

It was widely said that he'd been hired to manage them in the championship next year. So far, he's showing he might be able to do a better job this year, and he certainly doesn't seem to believe that.

    [Football] Carlos Carvalhal

I can't help but like the bloke. Whether he's a quality manager, only time will tell.

    [Albion] We have our three

I very much doubt Stoke will go down. West Brom and Hudders are definite maybes, but there's nothing certain at this stage, it's going to go to the wire. I've always said we'd go down - and I'd be ok with that, no bedwetting - but I can certainly see a route where we stay up, but not easy.

[Football] A draw not good enough?

It's a hard game, a big powerful team,, not bereft of some skills. I guess I'd take a point, but, of course, 3 would be better. Hoping we don't lose.

[Food] Why's everyone started saying "mac AND cheese" ?

The proliferation of US TV, of course.

[Albion] league table looking scary - we still have to play 7 of of top 8!

I've always thought we'd get a surprise win against one of the big boys, not sure which one. I think we'll still go down, though, but I've always felt that.

[Albion] ** Stoke v BHA ** - Premier League Score Predictor - Now in its 7th SEASON !!

Have gone with a very optimistic 2-1 to us, but I think this is going to be a very difficult game, they're a big, tough team - apart from Shaquiri, but he's just good. Would I take a point now ? Yup, probably.

    [News] John Mahoney RIP

The superb line I love, when a newsreader/local events type TV woman was doing an outside broadcast, when she came out with the line ...; "You know my motto, if it's on in Seattle, it's news to me" Great writing !

[Albion] Who do you WANT to go down?

Not really bothered. Not too distressed if it was the Albion, but rather it wasn't.
