To be fair a lot of teams have outplayed United for 90 minutes at OT this season .
Villa , Everton, Southampton, Watford & Wolves have all come away with points (plus others considered to be top six)
True. But we don't help ourselves by putting our top goalscorer on the bench against a side he normally does well against. How Gross keeps getting in the starting 11 is beyond me.
Wonder what Barber thinks. He wouldn't take the risk on buying extra Spurs tickets in case the Club lost a few thousand £'s , yet as we slip down the table millions of £'s are slipping through our hands !
It's an interesting thread.
I've yet to work out my own feelings towards Potter and the team. The current points situation would indicate that I should be happy with life as an Albion fan yet there is something which nags away. I find Potter hard to like , it may be the boring post match...
Another Albion trait that annoys me - announcing that a player is very near to returning to the team when it reality he is months away !
Apparently Webster was going to be back for the Burnley game and now its probably after the Spurs game -
If we do look like getting involved in the relegation battle I would expect us to pull our fingers out for the last few games. Nothing motivates players like losing money and a bit of fame.
If the ref had been strong and given Mings a yellow for every time he stormed up the pitch and tried to influence a decision and get involved in scuffles he would have had enough yellows to be sent off twice. They quickly sussed that the ref was weak and played on it all game , we were not that...
Yep, not sure I can remember another incident where a player gets tugged back and another defender is clearly 5 yards goalside of the incident and sweeping across and a red is given.
Are we the NEW Southampton. Produce and/or find great young players then sell them on
As a fan it's frustrating but at least it's a better position to be in than previous decades.
