They needed to look at the Maupay "goal" in some detail - not even discussed I'm convinced it should have stood as he committed no foul. Butland had the ball in both hands and his momentum took him into Maupay and he lost the ball. The ref thought it was ok but what did VAR see that was a foul ?
What with us being safe , Man City winning the league at a stroll it seems the main interest in the League for the remaining months is hoping that Newcastle go down :D
I must be getting old. For the first time in a long time I haven't thought about the game until now. Will go along and try and enjoy it but I normally don't enjoy many Albion matches as we are only a gnats whatsit from turning joy into despair.
I think the fact that we are almost nailed on...
The trouble with voting labour is they might be able to step into handling an ongoing crisis but it's all the other baggage that they bring. Thankfully the majority of people see this at election time and also thankfully it's not something we need to bother ourselves with for several years.
This is true. But I also think the only viable alternative Labour is such a turn off for a vast amount of people (as proved by election after election) . Just televise the Labour conference prior to an election and focus on Momentum (Corbynites) etc and job done for the Conservatives.
Gone 2-1 Albion.:albion2::ffsparr:
More in hope than expectation as I've been disappointed too often in this fixture. Palace seem a little bit better at dealing with it at the Amex than us.
To be honest the Palace away end had empty seats and vast sections of Millwall were empty. So despite the 10 miles between them and the "fierce" rivalry there didn't seem to be much interest in going from either set of fans
Unfortunately just another in the line of Albion costly dud buys.
Fortunately we seem to be balancing them out with some good ones - White , Lamptey , etc.
Having grown up in Portslade and attended Portslade Infant School (Brackenbury) & St. Nicholas Junior school I can confirm that the Swedish folk school is just over the fence . Portslade is fine and like most places has some run down areas that don't look so good on a grim mid winters day much...
