Thought he was poor tonight. Changed the game when he came on vs Watford.

Be good to get the legal thingy sorted and a new contract in the bag. Not saying its an excuse, but could possibly be a distraction.

I wouldn’t say he ‘changed the game’ at Watford, any more than MacAllister.

It was GPS tactics by adding an extra midfielder. He did play a lot better than last night though….

Bissouma is a great player but nobody is indispensable - blimey we all used to give Bridcutt similar adulation…..

Legally he is still 'under investigation' - which means its not ended one way or the other so must be an area of concern for him. Not saying its an excuse, just something which might be stopping him getting his head straight (Knocky and his Dads death spring to mind).

Only gets mentioned when he has a below-par game

Nor did he join in with the celebrations after the second at Watford, instead walking back to the centre circle by himself…

Did he not? He’s in the video I took walking towards the fans and getting a hug from Billy Reid

Straight off didn't even turn to look over his shoulder.

I'll Eden a guess 95% of that was down to disappointment about his game.
While 5% was down to thinking he'd ruined his audition.

There is no chance in the world he’s signing a new contract.

Huh. Well, the outfield players were still celebrating down in the corner when I looked up and saw Biss entering the centre circle alone.

I thought he ran the game in the first half last night He went off the boil after making the mistake for the goal but also United woke up and we went down to 10 men.

Noooo. Leave me my dreams / hopes / wishes... prayers.... :smokin:

Yea i do realise there isn't much chance of i and that our forward trajectory will continue after his absence. Still, its great to see him play for us and would love to get another year out of him before he goes to Villa and their CL spot. :lolol:

I thought it was a decent performance to be honest. Compare that to Fred and McTominay and it was a classic performance for the ages.

I think he looked really pissed off and angry with himself after his mistake for the goal, but despite this kept making his tackles and running his lines. I think he was angry at his mistakes and I think people might be reading too much into it.

That said, he either signs a new contract before May or he's gone for a fraction of his value.

How unusual for NSC

Are we the NEW Southampton. Produce and/or find great young players then sell them on

As a fan it's frustrating but at least it's a better position to be in than previous decades.

If you download Five Live Monday Night Club from the 14th February...the Saints CEO explained who they run their club. It was a mirror of how we are run and we are run bloody well compared to our opponents Tuesday night.

Truth be told, and much as many of us might not like to admit it, if we were to be run in the same style as any other PL club we could do a lot worse than Southampton.

Just watching Inter v Liverpool and was dismayed to hear that Inter has hijacked the Bissouma tune and turned it into some sort of organised cheerleader chant. Shouldn’t be allowed, thin end of the wedge etc. Hope the club instructs the legal Rottweilers.
