I think the points should be awarded retrospectively and based on the performance on the pitch. The worse the performance the more points you get. And then multiplied by the distance travelled to get to the game.
At least then, when I've driven 177 miles each way to watch the DURGE that's...
My decision was made for me when I inspected my costume yesterday.
Leaving it in the garage wasn't the best idea. It appears to have had some rodent nesting in it some point over the last year or so.
That sounds about right.
I have an 18 miler to do tomorrow. I'll be setting off from Brooklands Park and running to Brighton Pier and back. It's about 2 miles extra (each way) to get to Worthing Pier.

Additionally the train tickets aren't 'a bit cheaper'. For me it's the difference with paying ~£30 rather than £72...
4 weeks notice may seem like a long time for some, and if that's how it is then so be it. However I don't want to pay £72 rail fare to get to every home game, so I have to take a chance and book advance tickets otherwise it's simply not affordable on top of all the other costs incurred for the...
This time last year my BMI was 30.6. I knew I was overweight but obese???
Down to 26 now, and aiming to get it down to 24 in the next couple of months. Training for a marathon is certainly helping.
This is my issue.
I wait as long as I dare before trying to get cheap(ish) train tickets. Last week I lashed out nearly £40 for tickets to get to the Yeovil game on Saturday. Now I can't use them, nor get to the game on Friday.
Not for the first time this season either.
