Just put this out, bit of a rager in full band live mode but stripped back a tad here.

Brighton's favourite soon-too-be-massive indie-popsters Porridge Radio are doing a matinee (2.30-5.30) at the Prince Albert on Saturday 10 Nov. It'll be the perfect thing to follow a thrashing of Cardiff City with.

Big win for the Steelers in Cincinnati. The defense appears to be trending up to below average which may be good enough if the offence continues to show strongly. The keys for us going forward to be getting James Conner (or that other guy if he comes back) going to allow balanced playcalling...
Oh I see the music press has done that 'oops we've missed this act that's done some amazing stuff, best give the new one on a higher profile label amazing reviews to make up for it' thing with Marie Davidson.

I may change my mind but as good as...
Not totally sure the new Marie Davidson is up to the immense quality of the last two but there's still plenty of good stuff

Encouraging performance from the Steelers this week. The AFC North looks a good division this year, massive game at the Bengals next week that's really going to show us where we are at.
The Falcons were baaaaad though to be honest.
Yeah, I've revised my opinion on Ward. I thought he was the best of a pretty mediocre cornerback class and you'd reached a fair bit for him. Still think he was a slight reach (though NFL front offices really value shutdown corners in the new passing NFL) but he's been fantastic so far.
I think last year's draft was pretty decent and the free agency moves this year made sense. Still think the head coach will need to change for the Browns to make full use of all the potential they have gathered. Exciting times to be a Browns fan though.
This argument used to hold a bit of water but we haven't had a significant majority yet this decade so FPTP isn't even doing the one thing that it's supposed to do.
Not necessarily. Depends on what type of PR you are using.
The Hughton (not really a) Paradox
Do I think there's a manager who would actually come to us at the moment who might see us to a higher league position than Hughton will this year? Probably.
Do I think that as a result of moving on from Hughton we would be in a higher league position in 5...
And yet he got an awful Bills team to the playoffs last year. He's about as safe and unspectacular as it gets. It's Mayfield's job now and the sky is the limit with that kid. A few rookie errors but his arm is just unbelievable. He sure doesn't lack for a bit of confidence....
