Just had to share this. For those of you who like the Chameleons, Comsats, Modern Eon, Danse Society, Colenso Parade.....this will blow the trousers off you. Slow build.....and majestic overflow.

Gideon Coe has a (repeated) Jangle hour last week. Lots of the usual suspect but a nice listen while up on the Downs this morning. Available here https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/b0927dhq

Perhaps more interesting (although less true to C86) are Henry Rollins’ Cool Quarantine Shows available here https://www.kcrw.com/music/shows/music-special/henry-rollins-radio-longform-joy-division-ian-mackaye or more easily on the KCRW App. Two long shows where Rollins imagines you are just listening to his records with him - some good stories and great music.

My old mucker, Ajay (ex Dandelion Adventure, Donkey and so on), has a cracking selection of his old cassettes digitised and available on his YouTube channel, along with plenty of his own more recent top notch offerings (King Champion Sounds, Common Cold, Bhajan Bhoy etc)

If you're after Shop Assistants, Bogshed, June Brides, bIG fLAME, Bodines, Weddoes, The Fall, Pastels, Inca Babies, Membranes, Mary Chain, Marc Riley and so on, have a look:

Ah, Dandelion Adventure, one of my home town's finest. A little before my time, but I was very grateful for that a guy who worked at Action Records gave me a few of the albums for free, just because he knew I'd like them. Action Records remains the best record shop I've ever been to.

Yeah, I've never visited, but it's one of those record shops which have achieved near legendary status.
