Oh, I'm not just blaming China. I believe the UK govt is as much, if not more to blame for the outbreak in this country.
The little information coming out of China in January was, I'm my view, more then enough reason to act back then. Travel should of been restricted and 21 day quarantine...
I think after China's initial response and subsequent misreporting of cases and in particular deaths that it is time for the rest of the world to cut them off until something drastic changes.
We wouldn't be seeing cases around the globe had they be honest. For a start if they were honest about...
Tedros, no. Neil Ferguson absolutely, been following his analysis since January and was shot down many times quoting his predictions.
They've all come true.
I thought the Government said they would pay 80% of wages to businesses that couldn't afford to pay their staff wages. If clubs can't pay non-playing staff, how on earth can they afford to be paying playing staff? They should be putting everyone on furlough or none at all.
The 4 (so far) clubs...
If clubs are furloughing non playing staff, why can't they include players in this? Is the employer not entitled to do this?
I think it's absolutely disgusting that these players are taking full wages when the chefs, cleaners, etc are furloughed. They should be ashamed of themselves. So, yes...
I was asked the other day "when you were warning people about this is Jan, could you see it getting this bad?"
Naturally, if anyone was paying attention to what was going on in China (what was actually reported) that was bad enough to realise that if we let it spread -which we did- there would...
Wouldn't be in this mess if we'd acted in Jan or early Feb. Entire world was in denial all along and didnt want to disrupt the economy.
Look how well that's turned out, could of saved hundreds of billions and thousands of lives.
Not really, no. You cancel, without a doubt, you cancel.
Same as these efing idiots going on jolly to Snowdon, or Skegness, thinking this won't impact them.
Time for stricter measures if people keep flouncing this advice. Time to introduce fines for those ignoring the current measures.

So how do we know that's not what's happened in the UK?
At first we were only testing those who had been to infected countries or those who had been in contact with such people.
Surely Italy had the same testing criteria?
I've suffered with anxiety for a few years. As mentioned above, drink something. I carry a bottle of water everywhere with me, literally everywhere. I find it really helps.
Although since January the topic of C19 has got my anxiety extremely bad, so bad that I seeked help.
The first thing doc...
And people on this board have been calling me mad for my suggestions of strict curfews, border closures and closure of non-essential business. But that's exactly is happening in Europe.
Good luck everyone. Don't leave your houses unless you need food and medicine. Do not go to work, do not take kids to school.
Money is not important in grave situations like these. Worrying about bills is a nice problem by comparison
In the next 3 weeks the UK will have atleast 2000 deaths. If we act now we can contain this and keep those numbers to a minimum.
We must close borders to prevent further spread. We must enforce strict curfews and close all non-essential businesses. Other countries are doing this, why are we...
