The UK has exported a case to Nebraska. 36 year old woman who is "very seriously ill"
Id like to know where she has been travelling around the UK. Would suggest that what we already suspect is happening and that thousands are already infected. Would like to see a similar response to SK
Spain showing 3 deaths...

US should of been testing since Jan, apparently been in the community since then. They will have thousands of undetected cases and deaths
Absolute disgraceful comments what he said today. He has to stand down after those comments.
He may be willing to sacrifice millions of people in this country, but I don't think they public will fall for this shit when they see people dropping like flies and the chaos that follows
You're not wrong. SK have cases exploding all over the country, they are testing hundreds of thousands.
Meanwhile, this govt has a terrible battle plan and say its unlikely that cities would be locked down and are hopeful of holding out it peaking here until the Summer!
We need to try everything humanely possible to avoid getting it. People with conditions like CF, Asthma, COPD really shouldn't be allowed to leave their houses I don't think.
We also don't know the long term implications this will have on the lucky ones who do recover.
I'd like to see border...
Called it back end of Jan. So disappointing that they're gambling with our lives, our loved ones. A gamble that already hasn't paid off by the fact that we now know that it's spreading in the community in the UK.
Also 2 of the 12 cases announced today were in West Sussex.
What experts are you seeing say this will be gone in a few weeks?
Prof Neil Ferguson says that the real number of total cases is likely to be x1000 and that community spread is likely already happening in UK. He also says that 400k deaths in UK would not be an absurd number. That probably...
Yes that's proportionate, this will kill hundreds of millions. I'd go harder then that, but I called for border closures on 20th Jan and I'm a remainer.
Not great, I'm back to work after 2 weeks off and on medication (propranolol) to help manage my symptoms. Better then what I was 4-6 weeks ago.
My frustrations back then were nobody taking this seriously, now it's affecting people's pockets people have woken up, so that can only be a good thing...
Closure of ports would be 5 weeks too late. The only way we can now manage this is to enforce strict curfews, closure of all businesses (except food and pharmaceutical) one member per family to leave house every few days for supplies. Every visitor to the country must self isolate for 24 days or...
The world was in denial about this from day one, was seen as "China's problem" - the only reason the world is waking up is because the poor stock markets around the world have crashed, oh boo who.
If the rest of the world had taken decisive action 5 weeks ago we wouldn't find ourselves in this...
