Potentially? You can't have it both ways. If this squad isn't good enough and it is down to them then surely that means the manager who got the same group to fourth must have overachieved?
Also, our problem is not in defence. We have, for the second season running, one of the division's best...
Playing attacking players does not mean we are playing attacking football. If anything it suggests our tactics are not getting the best out of those attacking players.
I would have thought the fans who went to Barnsley today would have been the more hardcore supporters. They're among the last I'd expect to turn because we aren't winning 5-0 every week.
Quite simply not true that Poyet left Oscar with no money. Tony Bloom said our playing budget increased this season.
And the club also, I believe, confirmed they had made playing budget more flexible last season so wages and transfer kitty was in one pot.
Also that a fair chunk of transfer...
I quite like Hamer at Charlton and Darlow at Forest as well as McCarthy at Reading. Heaton at Burnley is also pretty good and Camp at Derby.
Then there is the obvious Schmeichel, Green et al.
Don't think I could make a convincing case for Kuszczak being better than any of them.
Still, according to some on here we dodged a bullet not signing Grabban, Elphick and Cook were League One at best and Eddie Howe isn't that good a manager...
Unless there was a massive turnaround in the ninth innings last night (which I missed walking the dog) then the Mets were pretty poor against Washington.
As a novice watching my first game I would suggest their relief pitchers had a nightmare.
I don't think his distribution has got worse. It is just under Poyet he was pretty much banned from knocking it long. This approach perhaps covered up any distribution problems he had.
Not the best 'keeper in the Championship like some suggest. But the best we have had for a long time.
Maybe...
They've also won their last two games scoring seven goals...
Not saying we won't get a decent result. Just that it isn't as easy a game as the league table might suggest.
