The problem is there's no right and wrong to this argument, it's largely a subjective one. Nobody has a crystal ball no matter how much anyone protests they 'know' the outcome of keeping him or binning him (same with most Managers)
Could Pulis or Moyes do a better job? Unlikely. Could Klopp or...
Well said. I've withdrawn from the 'debate' having seen some of the pretty nasty/daft stuff written ('thicko', 'disloyal', 'go watch xxxx', 'who should we get? Pulis?', 'maybe we sign Messi' etc etc)
Fact is BHA will be around a long time after CH departs and when he does go it'll probably be...
I could hazard a guess :)
I sat next to TB for about 2 hrs at the Aussie Open in 2006. Met him again about 4 years ago at NWSS meeting and reminded him. Guess what? :tantrum:
I don't know how many are going or how much research you've done but make sure you check out Norwegian. We fly to and from Ca a fair bit and 'discovered' Norwegian last year. They are absolutely superb by comparison to the usual suspects imo. Buy the baggage and grub package. Better service...
I went about 10 years ago, decent enough. We lived in California then so not such a schlep, but from here I think there are many better options, depends why you want to go I suppose
Ignoring superstars and fading stars. Championship punts?
Bradley Dack - gets good press, stepped up from L1 no prob's
Nick Powell - bit of a sick note otherwise very useful
Tom Lawrence - (assumes Derby stay down) doesn't come with the Grealish price tag
Have we got one 'might be worth a sneaky punt?' Ordinarily I'd stick Nick Powell on there but he's a bit of a sick note too .... so my next 'bargain basement' thought is Bradley Dack
I'm not sure that we can satisfy what I assume will be 2 of the key selling points, wages and prospects. I'd imagine players of that calibre will be looking to the likes of Everton, Leics etc where it's not The Alamo week in week out. It must be totally draining and not a lot of satisfaction...
Why the sarcasm? Did I say anything about multi million pound strikers? Not that we won't spend multiple millions on one anyway
It was a serious response to your point. Of course we need to get better players but £30-£40M? Not a prayer
Have used a VOIP phone at home, on standard broadband, for the last 3/4 years. Very clear and never had an issue. Think a decent handset can be got for under £100.
Yep, most of that. Not sure about supporting CH (or not supporting CH). Support the club regardless of the personalities and like you I'd move on from CH. But if TB wants to put faith in him fair enough, it's his 'investment'
