If Man U still have something to play for Cardiff won't get anything there.
Would prefer the games at same time but think we need to go out to beat Newcastle regardless of what happens at Fulham,
Neither, expected a loss.
I think the Manchester result tonight could have a bearing. We need Utd to have something to play for on the last day so a win/draw will increase my confidence a notch. It will also likely mean City have nothing to play for but doubt that will have any impact on result
Of course not ... TB would have to take a risk and evaluate that risk/reward against what he has now. If anyone one knows how to take a calculated risk then he does
or .... change the players to accomodate the style (lots of pace and energy to enable very quick breaks)
and whatever style we adopt we need to find footballers who know how to pass to one wearing the same shirt!
I think I agree that last point. But I'm not sure that the £5K a week difference between us and Bournemouth (in 12th) is really the reason why there's such a difference in performance. Particulalry when you take out the reported £100K+ a week that Defoe is on it actually makes the numbers about...
I struggle a little with comparing budgets amongst the 'also rans' because of a) the number of players developed via the youth/U23 set up, b) the varying length of contracts and c) when they were signed. I don't think it's as straightforward as adding the ammortised fees and wages of current...
Yes they had all that possession so the highlights would always be one sided, the game was! I didn't give us a hope before the game but by half time I couldn't really see them scoring. In the second half they got closer but a couple of decent saves (which is what you expect from Ryan) was really...
Yes and it was uber painful. But I didn't expect anything else and I was impressed that they stuck to it and were successful. Wolves are no slouches, there was the odd moment, but we looked reasonabley comfortable. It could have gone wrong but it didn't
I'd imagine most or many independents would look at the fixtures and think Cardiff will beat Fulham and lose the rest and we maybe get a draw v Newcastle and lose the rest.
Realistically we lose the three games to the top 6 but I think Cardiff have opportunities in all of their last 3, a loss...
Jordan might want to announce that he'll divi up £2m amongst the fans if they win :)
If we we had that game to send Croydon down I can just imagine our fans getting right behind Cardiff
Thankfully Fulham look like they're still playing and I fancy them to beat Cardiff. I really don't expect Palace to do us any favours though. That then leaves that last game and I really hope Man U still have 4th to play for, if not I wouldn't rule out an 'upset'
