Lots of posts and nobody has posted the apparent quote from his agent? It wouldn’t surprise me if he was here come September (once the window has closed)
Other than a blatant bit of work by his agent to get more money on any offer where would he go? Not good enough for a top 4 (6) side and who else would pay him the same as Palace have been doing? His time to move was a few years back and can seem him being at palace for a few more seasons until...
It was a religious thing much like the little group walking up the road signing a song about Jesus.
Not sure how it can be said a community are against anything based on the actions of 10 or so people?
How do you know Weir hasn’t got the contacts? Would have been learning from Ashworth not to mention he was a former pro with huge contacts of his own. If Bloom had any doubts he wouldn’t get the job, have a bit of faith in a man who appoints the best people to take care of his club.
few weeks back he was being linked with the top jobs and we were dreaming (ish) of a European push and now this, tough life this management lark. Oh and no, he's a good manager / head coach
I would imagine what goes on behind the scenes is somewhat different to what is said on camera. Gerrard (and Lampard) choosing to dig their players out on tv will not do any good and is more likely to lead to them losing their jobs in the long run.
Oh and just for good measured Potter didn’t...
Lost a £50 million central defender, the most important defender (for the way he want to play) for a large chunk of the season, not been properly backed in the transfer market (although understandably given the losses) and yet still has us on track for a good season. Yeah he’s good
What is wrong with holding him (or anyone) to their notice period? If Newcastle want him before that period ends then then they have to pay. No big conspiracy
Why is Barber’s supposed salary such an issue to some?
Any CEO of £100 mill + a year business would expect to earn such an amount or even more. You (or Tony Bloom in this case) pay for top employees.
