Russell Slade, Russell Slade - can he keep us in div one?
Russell Slade, Russell Slade - the job is nearly done
Jim was first choice, at Stockport he stayed
Mistake he made, mistake he made, mistake he made...
Would prefer us to sing for our manager than against theirs.
I have nothing against Gannon. He decided not to come to us, was loyal to Stockport, gave us Dicker on loan (who has been instrumental in giving us a chance of staying up) and has allowed him to play against Stockport - all good in my...
From DK himself?? That seems to knock most of the rumours on the head then. Looks very unlikely Gannon will be coming down here as manager anytime soon (apart from to lose on Saturday)
Think this is the most likely. They may be trying to tie up a permanent deal before Saturday (so it doesn't look like they are doing us any favours - as he was always going to be our player permanently...)
If Gannon gets the job, it has all been sorted since before RS was appointed. I don't believe they would go for anyone else if Slade does indeed keep us up. The only way it would be Gannon is if he agreed to come at the end of the season whichever division we were in (but timing wasn't right...
OK - this is pretty simple (and pretty crap)

Although I'd have given OGH man of the match, I would definitely say Dicker was a close second and looked by far the classiest player on the pitch to me
Have to say I was pleasantly surprised yesterday BUT I'm not sure I would describe him as having pace... He looked to me like he had 5kg weights in each of his boots when he ran
