Fifa made it known the One Love armband would not be tolerated, we were just the first on the pitch to get the opportunity, no surprise everyone else folded once the hard line was confirmed.
I would like to see England and the other teams who encourage inclusively and "One Love" wear shirts...
Beckham was the first player to realise that a player could become a business and transcend 90 minutes on a football pitch. He's got untold wealth and fame but sold his soul and that of his children too. He was never going to interact with Lycett and risk The Brand.
Thanks, that explains a lot.. the problem I have is that so often it seems that only the worst beer that a brewery has in its range gets produced in big numbers. Fullers had some crackers but mostly all you can get on draught is London Pride and ESB....used to love Bengal Lancer..apart from...
Sounds like he has been got at. So much for the " Football Family " that used to get trotted out as being the ultimate goal of football.
You can have your beer though if you are on a corporate package though.
The Grauniad reporting tonight that paid " Official Supporters" have had their cash allowance cut, security guards are on the equivalent of 35p an hour and construction of at least one " Fan Zone " is unfinished....oh, and no beer for ordinary fans....its going well !
You won't get any sort of sensible reply. We are at the stage where genuine questions are being asked about Brexit now, even on/in mainstream media but, we still have a long way to go before there is an actual acceptance of the scale of the disaster.
I did plug Goldmark Brewery earlier in this thread, here's today's offerings on tap....
Prices per Litre including plastic container....I notice that Middle Farm charge quite a bit for the bottle now btw.
Tbh, Baileys is absolutely crap value. They are flogging a product that is only 17% ABV at a price that is almost that of spirits. A good Port is far better value and taste but, hey, they don't advertise that.
