To be picky, I think it's about the same. Last accounts say we generated £9.4m from tickets, and the China deal (assuming all of it's split evenly among all clubs) is about the same each year for the three years of the deal. It also doesn't kick in till the 2019/20 season.
While you do see this in American football, the playing surface there is not as important. Having a buggy come on and potentially leave a large mark on the pitch wouldn't be ideal. I did, however, see an image of an ambulance on a football pitch recently, but think that was in exceptional...
Am at Falmer (although on the other side of the road to the Amex) and currently the game would be off. If the standard is "A linesman must be able to see the other touchline", there's a whole building about that distance from my office that I can't see.
An excellent write up, although you've reminded me that Chris O'Grady a) exists and b) is still our player. 1 goal in 22 appearances for Burton this season apparently.
If it was a well written critique from a national paper or similar then perhaps it'd be worth bringing to the player's attention, but even then I'm sure they have more than enough motivation, either emotionally or financially. That post, however, is a semi-literate rambling that brings nothing...
Are they? I'm perfectly capable of singing in response to the North Stand while watching the game. It's not hard to watch the game and sing at the same time.
The issue these days seems to be conditions around the stadium when very, very cold. Games have been cancelled due to snow/ice around the stadium, even though the pitch was perfectly fine due to heating. Unsafe for public to get there.
Thank you for posting this so I don't have to. It'll be a preset sum for the length of contract. If Southern suspect the number of fans is higher than expected, or the club suspect it's lower, then this'll be factored in next time they negotiate the contract and associated fee. The best you can...
My guess is that if his polling figures start to show that he's dragging down the electability of Republicans in Congress something will come to light that will either cause his impeachment or force his resignation to avoid it. I suspect they'd rather like Pence in power anyway. The only...
