Happy it wasn't 14th March.

Watching/playing Jimmy White in Hailsham that night...

Newcastle's tweet
The club asked for alternative dates to be considered later in the season, however this was rejected by the @EFL and @OfficialBHAFC. #NUFC

Good on us. Gives Newcastle us away, Huddersfield away, Reading away in the space of 7 days.

Newcastle will beat Oxford and then ensure they fabricate a draw against their R5 opponents, to prevent this happening...

Have to hope they get drawn against Man City or someone and are not in a position to 'manage' the result.

Bloody typical I'm away from 21st Feb - 4th march so I'll be missing this as well as the reading game

Fantastically cynical thinking.

Although, guess their 3rd round was evidence of them practicing cup draws....

Reading on the Saturday 25th, followed by Newcastle on the Tuesday 28th!

I'll certainly be looking very carefully at the odds offered for a draw in the R5 tie.

At least they are at home, Newcastle have us, then Huddersfield and then Reading ALL away

Yes could be worse but still a couple of tough games. Obviously all results matter, but six points here, at this stage, would be massive!

There's some loon toon suggesting they asked it be played on a weekend. :lolol:

Only free weekends from now till the end of the season will be internationals.

So we'd lose Kayal and Duffy from our best XI, plus Hemed, Norwood, Skalak and Maenpaa.

They'd lose Mbemba, Clark, Haidara, Yedlin, Diame, Ritchie, Mitrovic, Murphy and Atsu.

Maybe...
