Looks like we are going to get a load more here in Brighton for the next hour or two as it moves down from the Norty East. Just in time for people who will try and drive to work.

The only winner from this would be the bus company (which is a private owned company). Whilst I think the service it provides is one of the best in the country, the prices it charges are very high. A congestion charge will just force people to park in residential areas outside of the city...
3500 max. Looking at the live ticket booking for the South stand there are huge areas of empty seats outside of the centre blocks. When I rang up to book tickets I got straight through.
if you pay by credit card can you not then call the credit card company and stop the payment or at least involve there legal team to fight your claim? I thought credit cards offered you some basic legal backup as part of the package.
Impressed to see the JCB diggers still working away at 18:40 tonight with the aid of floodlights. They really are pushing on with the construction. I suppose the overtime comes in handy!
Anyone know if our Wembley style Arches are going to be lit up at night? Guess after our planning permission battle it would be unlikely (bat impacts!), but it would look amazing as you made your way to the ground at night if they were.
One thing that caught my attention whilst half watching it last night was the police officer arresting someone for not having ID. Is this really the law?
Went something like this......
Police: Show me some ID
Bloke: I have not got any
Police: I'm arresting you for failure to show me ID...
My misses drank 4 bottles of Ice cold Cobra 0% before she realised it was non alcholoic! Just goes to show how far they have come since the days of Kaliber - or how little she knows about lager!
anyone else run into the 'fans' of Millwall tonight outside London Bridge? Didn't think they were playing tonight? They were quickly moved on by the police to another pub I think but looked like they were up for trouble. Who are they playing?
My Swansea supporting mate sent me a text out of the blue saying we have a good chance of signing Billy Sharp. He heard he was travelling to Brighton this weekend to check the place out, but Swansea and another Championship club were / are in the hunt for him too. I can't see him dropping to...
Your right. Meant to say that he'd rather the club die than we build a stadium at Falmer! Hope he had a good view of it on the way back out of Brighton as well.
Officially it only has ONE tier. What happens in the future (Premiership, Europe, World cup host city) is another matter though!
I'd like to think the space that is earmarked for the college is going to be flexible so on match days it can be used for hospitality, and in the week for education...
At least he had to go past the site of our new fantastic stadium on the way into town! I seem to remember saying he'd rather die than see the stadium be built at Falmer. Hope that put a bad start to his day in Brighton.
It is, but just looking at the metalwork structure you can see the potential for a second tier at a later date. The front metalwork looks to have the perfect angle ready for the top level if its ever required. If you think this looks good wait till they start work on the west ( 3 tier) stand!
Good work by the club. All these ex players working with kids will increase our profile in the community and increase our chances of finding another Gareth Barry within the Sussex youth.
