It sounds like we've run out of cash then.

Navarro played well today , caught for a couple of fouls but looked eager to impress RS and get signed.

miserable bugger :lolol::lolol:

Navarro offers good options in terms of being able to play the ball out of defence rather than hoof it and Smith looks potentially promising and a good addition to the squad.

I'm sure we will pay for at least one or two more before August is out.

Why does it sound like that ? If we've out of cash then we are royally f***ed as we have a bloody great stadium to be built !

Oh dear. Cash for players I meant of course, it seems like we are just making up the numbers to me with freebies.

My Swansea supporting mate sent me a text out of the blue saying we have a good chance of signing Billy Sharp. He heard he was travelling to Brighton this weekend to check the place out, but Swansea and another Championship club were / are in the hunt for him too. I can't see him dropping to League 1 and signing for us though, not when championship sides are interested. I reckon Slade has someone else lined up for if / when Glen Murray leaves.

Seems like the link with Le Harve and other French clubs has gone cold this year. We have had a few players on trial pre season for 4 or five years, but have heard nothing this season.

So if we have no chance, I think it would be unlikely he would be coming to Brighton to check us out. Why waste his time when Championship clubs are in for him. Maybe he can be sold the dream along with a good package by Russell and Tony. Of course your mate might be winding you up.

Pleased with Navarro today. Good tackling midfielder, played well sitting infront of the back four.

When is the reported addition to the coaching staff coming.

That to me is the biggest puzzle of pre-season....the promised shake up that hasn't happened.

Don't see Sharp coming although I'm sure someone will and we are only one or two players short of a very promising squad but the backroom team still feels short of a qualified coach.

Blimey oreilly, I can't keep up with this.

Anyone able (or willing) to list all confirmed and potential new signings and their positions in one post?
