Blimey, if he does leave then we’d probably need to sign two players to replace him given his versatility and output.
The squad could be at a pretty big crossroads this Summer. Potentially a dearth of players who are currently in their prime.
Damn.
Probably the wrong thread for this, but given Solly’s age and the fact there’s no guarantees he’ll come back the player he was, signing a left footed winger needs to be on the recruitment list this summer. Still slightly annoying we weren’t able to in January.
I think the stereotype of takeaways being the choice of only obese people has come to an end.
Regularly see my neighbours get deliveries and they’re all slim, healthy-looking types. One of them is in very good shape and she’s the one who seems to get the most deliveries!
I guess delivery...
I can’t imagine any of the German sides likely interested in Pascal could match his wages here. You’d think the most recent contract he signed with us would’ve moved him to one of our top earners.
De Zerbi confirmed at the end of last season: “Jeremy Sarmiento will go on loan, it’s our current plan. We talked with him and we agreed that after his last injury he needs to have a minimum of 35 games before coming back with us.”
He’s played 1470 minutes of football between his two loan...
Wasn’t part the reason for his loan so he could go and play 90 minutes of football regularly?
I’m sure it was the case that the club wanted to see how he coped physically with playing a lot of minutes, more than whether he had the technical ability to succeed.
I thought Veltman was motm.
He does tend to be the spare man when we move with possession up the pitch. I think this is partly because the opposition see him as the least threatening - he’s not gonna burst beyond someone for pace or play a defence splitting pass, but he will pretty much always...
Ansu Fati will be entering that chat as well. £7 million and he hasn’t even managed 1,000 minutes of football for us.
He’s cost us around £645,000 per 90 minutes of football he’s played. 😳
I assume he’s referring to his first 9 games, he had 5 goals and 4 assists. A decent return at that stage.
Murray also had a poor return that year at Palace. 6 goals and 5 assists for the whole season.
From what I’ve read, Hull fans don’t exactly think Rosenior is the messiah. Some think with the players they’ve got they really should’ve made the play offs.
I agree with others on this thread that RDZ has shown some tactical tweaks and we have seen them a couple of times this season
What he doesn’t deviate from is his overarching ideology/philosophy/strategy/whatever you want to call it, which is to be predominantly possession based and build from...
