Dropped my ST and bought one for East Grinstead instead this season, although they are not playing at the moment I went to every home and away game so far and absolutely love it.
Same as Cricket, Batsman misses a hard ball traveling at 80MPH that thumps into his rib cage...he tries his/ her best at showing no pain and faces the same a minuet later...Pro football is for woosies.
So much of this.
I feel bad but for me all the things that make "me" I cant do. Football both pro and non league is what I do in the winter, Cricket again both pro and Sunday league, Pub, Restaurants a round of golf, going round mates houses and gigs...I miss gigs so much, at the first...
The fact that the average age of death from Covid is 82, there is a fair chance a fair few of that 58K might have sadly passed anyway. ( that sounds a bit brutal from me but wasnt meant to be )
Well he and it was a he was cooking in the kitchen with the other 3 as you caught a glimpse of him now and again.
My Mrs mentioned that John was in a right old strop when judging the meals at the end, that lead me to think the mystery cook told them to stick it up their arse after a bad review ?
I will be having 4 households, The Mrs and me, and my 3 adult kids who all live in their own houses...But will not be seeing either my Mum or the in laws who are all in their 70& 80s so although breaking the 3 household rule we are being sensible IMHO.
:blush:Someone mentioned Gary glitter earlier and it reminded me that I saw him with the Rizzols and protex as support. Although not the correct thing to say GG was very good a proper showman. If only I knew as I still feel guilty for shouting leader leader for 5 minutes as he paraded...
First Gig...UK Subs, Fulham Greyhound matinee 2 oclock in the afternoon for under 18s 1978
Worst..Wasted Youth. Croydon collage 1982, just a bit boring and lots of boneheads hitting people as they moved for no real reason.
Best...The Mob, Zounds, The Hamsters, The Astronauts, Andy T and Idiot...
Sadly the Crystal Palace athletic track and swimming pool have neglected in recent years, the stadium is a sad site these days. I would love palace to play at the CPAT but it could never happen as Bromley council would never let it.
