Surely after the success of Harvey's it would be pushing at an open door if we asked the club for a local cider? I'm no cider expert but Battle Cider and Wobblegate taste okay to me. Good enough for a trial barrel or two in the North or WSU, certainly.
Option 3 looks really attractive but these
are really good points. The pavement on Queens Road can be frustratingly congested as it is without making it worse.
I'm less worried about
as it looks like there's scope to deepen the cab rank into the now-oversized pedestrian area to squeeze more...
I think there's been a relative dearth of the "mind-expanding" type of science fiction recently because of the Singularity (oversimplified: the idea that once we manage to build an artificial intelligence smarter than ourselves, it will be able to design an even smarter AI, and so on in a...
You can get really quite nice places like this for £1k pcm. Right by the sea, walking distance to Brighton proper but quiet when you want to have a night in. My only concerns if you're planning to drive to Crawley are that it's an extra few minutes to get to the edge of town compared to Preston...
Yes. Over ten years ago, so my knowledge is a bit out of date, but the principles are probably the same.
I failed the Circle Line. Got so drunk that I bailed, so drunk that I didn't realise that I only had one pub/station left to do to finish it. My advice:
Stick with the historic, original...
Good call... although if I had to, I'd trade all three for Tijuana Lady.
Close... except for me Waterfall is one of the weaker tracks on the album.
If I could swap Take the Power Back for Bullet in the Head, or Know Your Enemy, or Wake Up, or Fistful of Steel I might go for this.
But my...
Lewes bonfire night is on November 5th unless that falls on a Sunday, in which case it moves to Saturday. I think. There are probably plenty of actual Lewes folk on here who will correct me if I'm wrong.
But the general point is that it follows the 5th, rather than being on the nearest...
I had the same problem. I phoned the ticket office and they entered a title for me.
It was a nice idea to encourage people to renew online to take pressure off the phone lines but it missed a vital bit of testing.
That's my assumption: they haven't told us because they genuinely don't know. They've put a disclaimer about possible/probable price rises in the season ticket renewal letters to cover themselves but they won't spend time trying to cross that bridge until they come to it.
As was mentioned on the Brewdog thread recently, The Cask is opening where The Spotted Dog/The Hop Poles used to be on Middle Street. London-based mates think highly of the Pimlico version so I'm looking forward to checking it out.
Opens tomorrow night.

I thought this was part of the planning application for the East Stand Upper, not the West: 16 ziplines from the new ESU aligned with the doors of an 8-coach Southern train waiting on the platform at the final whistle. You leave your seat, throw your specially reinforced Albion scarf over the...
Morning Dove White, sadly the only album One Dove ever made. Perfect for a sunny hungover Sunday morning when all is right with the world and Monday is a whole day away.
From WSU block A I thought AEA just shoved him to the ground. I'm prepared to be proved wrong by the FLS footage but I'd have given the penalty, as I think would most people around me - we all looked a lot like this:
I agree that it can be done (I did similar) but the drag of mountain bike tyres is a needless burden on a long road route. I was cursing my decision to "just put up with it" by the end. It's probably worth keeping an eye out for a cheap second-hand road bike: they're designed that way for a...
