Series of stories made up by the media. Most stations are built on one floor but dont need them but if they have two floors then they will have one.

This is my QI training coming in to practice.

In that case, I shall start a petition at work, as my office is on the first floor

You lot really know nought cos the WSU roof was made long enough and with the right gradient to launch Microlights off, they will be part of next years 1901 package, unless you want to upgrade to the jet packs which have three different models, the calor gas model, the nitrous oxide model or just the BOG standard methane model.

I love Bloom he is light years ahead of the game.

At last a sensible, rational and well reasoned thread on NSC. Where do I get my "Slide, YES" stickers, who is organising the leaflet campaign around the City and I am happy to volunteer for lobbying at any forthcoming party conferences.

I thought this was part of the planning application for the East Stand Upper, not the West: 16 ziplines from the new ESU aligned with the doors of an 8-coach Southern train waiting on the platform at the final whistle. You leave your seat, throw your specially reinforced Albion scarf over the cable strung from the outside of the concourse, slide down in seconds and release at the right time to launch straight into a carriage. (And scramble out of the way of the person sliding down behind you.) Half of the ESU could be cleared onto a train back to Brighton before the other stands had even made it to the platform, thus minimizing the disruption to existing transport arrangements.

It could get messy if people leaving in the 85th minute try to use the ziplines before the train turns up, though.

I once got my mate Phil to do THIS waterslide in Magaluf (picture just doesn't do it justice, it's about 50ft high and almost at a 180 angle) -

naked for a slice of pizza cos he'd spend all his money in the first two nights and was so hungry :lolol:

I can still remember just about making out the figure of him at the very top, wrestling with a lifeguard as he dropped his shorts and prepared to go with his little cock flopping about :lolol: AHAHAHAHA!

bloom is missing a revenue trick here, we need to build Gully Land in bennets field, a kids theme park with albion themed waterslides, rollercoasters etc.. pre match entertainment at its highest (literally)

Pathetic have never heard of such a stupid f***ing idea as to have a slide from the stadium to Falmer station. Surely it would be better to go to Brighton and we could all be in the pub alot sooner.

My work here is done

I think if we're going direct to Brighton, some kind of luge track is a good way of minimising friction.

You still in HH? The fire station in Mill Green Road had a pole* - perhaps you could go and try that one first? Assuming, of course, that a charity shop/99p shop has not moved in there.

* last visited Mill Green Road fire station in +- 1973!!

Re the slide/zipline - have a look at this http://www.karkloofcanopytour.co.za/. It's bloody marvellous! It would not be too hard to set up a series of platforms throughout Brighton to get you back to the pub/station/home asap.
