A lifetime dream for me. Marseilles and Athens were the highlight. Cities I have never visited before, beautiful weather, and some great results. Spoiler was thinking of all my friends along the way, who are no longer with us, and would have relished the experience.
I still think all our stars...
The play off final was one of my best Albion days ever. To win a major game on a neutral pitch, with my kids in tow. (Wifey advised me I could not go as she had a weekend booked with friends. You think???) Thus having to look after the boys I stayed sober ish, and saw a lot more of the evening...
We set up well with Webster in the centre and Igor left back. As we should have done last week. The effects of a tough Euro week showing for once in our favour.
It is an excellent article and I note researched very well. I know Anja and she is a strong voice for Schalke. Pretty much sums us up at the moment. A couple of tidy results recently have helped, and as mentioned it does appear we will get a license in League 3, which should avoid the effective...
This is very telling, two wonderful seasons and the whole club gets picked apart by the big boys. Sadly it will happen again and again a la Southampton and Leicester. Just imagine what could have been.
Had my cataracts done last year and was offered replacement lenses at the same time, all on the NHS. I had to have a follow up laser treatment to clear some misting but all OK now. Oddly one lens is for distance and one for reading. It all works. First time without glasses since I was eight...

Beautiful walk any time...
Just bought a copy of 'Singing a Song in the Morning LIght' a 4cd collection of previously unrealised Alan Hull songs prior to Lindisfarne. There are some lovely songs and lyrics which were up until now lost. Some of the melodies are lovely and were never developed into a final song.
Another aspect we should consider, as of next season it will be our longest consecutive spell in any one division since the old Third Division South. Same teams every season syndrome.
Not just me then. Certain aspects are ruining the game for me.
Agents and seeing the team ripped apart every transfer window.
Travel logistics and rail strikes, match day alterations, costs.
Not being able to take a bag with me on long away rail trips due to ground regulations.
