[Albion] The "Out in Marseille and this may help someone" thread

No but unlike England ticket machines work. €5 for a day ticket. Tap in each time you get on.

    [Albion] Marseille

Here already. Irritatingly a number of African kids with Chelsea shirts around the Old Port. Good bit of advice, airport shuttle bus very efficient. Turn left leaving the airport to bus station, ticket machine card only. 10 Euro into town direct to rail station.

Maybe we could offer advice about how to effectively deal with bad owners.

    [Albion] AEK Post Game Leaving

I am Schalke fan and enjoyed an unexpectedly chilled morning in the City, but I also travel away with them and policing can be firm. Sadly it needs to be.

    [Albion] AEK Post Game Leaving

Schalke v Dortmund last year was interesting. For Dortmund fans there were two ways to the game. Bus from their stadium to a holding pen outside the stadium. If they wanted to come by train this was permitted but they had to use one specific exit. Again they then had to wait for supervised...

[Albion] A thread for all the seagulls looking down on us today

Thread of the year. Thank you. The whole Chuter family and also a nod to Keith Gumbrell who will be sitting somewhere with a cigar saying he does not what the fuss is about, whilst blowing smoke at an irate neighbour in the stand.

    [Travel] Amsterdam Travel Advice Please

Last time in Leeuwarden I had half a cup cake (9eur) and it blew me into next week. Like Sonic the Hedgehog walking home, the bridges kept moving. Last I heard the Dam was cagey with foreigners. Rule here is one stay sober, one enjoy, and swap over the next night.

[Football] The Non-League Football Thread- 2023/24 Edition

Sadly its an unremarkable new build in an industrial estate, the old place Annfield is long gone. Still some wonderful old stadiums around though. Yet to get to Brechin which is a classic.

[Football] The Non-League Football Thread- 2023/24 Edition

Sadly now The Blue Brazil are non league so thus qualify for this debate, as of course do the whole of the Lowland and Highland league. So a 21 hour day return to the Moo Camp for a 2-2 draw against Civil Service Strollers. (Thanks to National Express for their overnight Gatwick Worthing service...

    [Albion] FAB Euro Ticketing meeting

It would not surprise me if several hundred tickets disappeared into an official ‘travel with the team’ VIP trip open to all at a substantial cost.

[Albion] Michał Karbownik - polish Lamptey - sold to Hertha Berlin

Schalke are very keen but again money is an issue. Relegation has tightened budgets even further. At least there is a decent shirt sponsor this year as Veltins make a much welcome return.

    [Misc] Dental subscriptions

The only private health contract I have. Started to have problems recently so upgraded last year to Denplan top tier. (£50 per month). As I suspected I now need a crown fitted and repairs to root canal. Three hours of treatment covered, all I pay is the crown itself. I can usually see my dentist...

    [Football] Hamburg v Stuttgart

Did HSV v Schalke some years ago. A Schalke win would have sent them down. Passionate doesn’t cover it. We bottled it, HSV stayed up, only to get relegated the following year.
